摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for receiving a 1-bit data train which is a PDM signal that can reduce a sense of discomfort when noise due to a high bit error rate occurs.

SOLUTION: In an infrared communication receiver 1, an error detecting section 20 in a receiving section 2 detects a DC component of the 1-bit data train which it received as a PDM signal through an integration circuit and compares the detected DC component with the reference voltage by a comparator circuit and then outputs a signal according to the comparison result. When the DC component is reduced, it is determined that the bit error rate is large and then the voice output of the infrared communication receiver 1 is turned OFF.
