PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ejection apparatus capable of forming a film having satisfactory quality. SOLUTION: The ink ejection apparatus 1 is equipped with an ink ejection section 2 disposed relatively movably with respect to a substrate in order to eject ink to a plurality of pieces of defective pixels existing here and there on a substrate, and a time interval calculation section 4 for calculating the ejection time intervals indicating lapse time from the time the ink is ejected in the previous time before the ink is ejected this time based on the order of ejecting the ink to the plurality of pieces of the defective pixels, in which the ink ejection section 2 controls the amount of the ejected liquid droplets or the number of the ejected liquid droplets of the ink ejected to the defective pixels.
