PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic balance which will not be influenced by electrical continuity drift by a low power consumption. SOLUTION: This balance comprises a timepiece apparatus 6 which transmits time of day signal, an operation control part 3 which clocks the time of day transmitted, an input device 5 which establishes start/finish time of day of a power source supply to a load detection part 1 of the electronic balance, a power source on-off device 7 which starts or finishes the power source supplying to the load detection part 1 and an indicator 4, when the read time of day coincides with the established time of day. When the time of day coincides with the power supply start time of day, the power source turn on-off device 7 is turned ON.
