PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element and a manufacturing method thereof which can reduce the effect of its color aberration. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging element 10 has a color filter 45 provided in every picture element, a light receiving element 13 provided correspondingly to the color filter 45 and constituting a color picture element, and a lens layer 53 for focusing a light on each light receiving element 13.
