<p>When long hair is brushed the bristles get frequently caught in knots, resulting in excessive strain on the hair which is eventually pulled out or damaged. The new design of a brush starts rotating around its longitudinal axis (2) as soon as it is caught in tangles until it can be easily removed and the knots eliminated. The bristle base (6) is joined with a slide bearing (4) to the stationary axle (2) exceeding from the handle (1). The resisting forces can be adjusted with a button (8) acting on a helical spring (7).</p>
