A mounting structure of a front grill for a window type air conditioner is provided to make assembling process easier by assembling a separation preventing unit while assembling an elastic unit and a rib. A mounting structure of a front grill for a window type air conditioner includes, an elastic unit(200), and a separation preventing unit(300). The elastic unit generates an elastic power from one end to the angle while assembled at left and right side in the front grill. The separation preventing unit is formed to be assembled at each side of the elastic unit and the front grill and prevents a separation of the elastic unit from the front grill.
