An apparatus for numeralizing the amount of a fuel for a vehicle is provided to accurately and conveniently recognizing the amount of the fuel by displaying the residual amount of fuel, the amount of supplied fuel, and the amount of consumed fuel with numbers. An apparatus for numeralizing the amount of a fuel for a vehicle includes a scale(3) for displaying the residual amount of the fuel and an indication needle(2) indicating the scale. The apparatus includes a rotation detection section(10), a control section(20), and a display section(30). The rotation detection section is connected to a rotational shaft of the indication needle and is operated by the rotation of the indication needle to detect the rotation of the indication needle. The control section converts the detected analog signal to a digital signal and converts the digital signal to a signal for displaying the digital signal in the form of numbers. The display section displays the amount of the fuel by numbers according to the signal of the control section.
