<p>A technique of making a pile fabric on a warp knitting loom with two bars for the base fabric and at least two bars or more for the pile loops. The pile loops are anchored in the loose stitches, and are formed over the needles of the base fabric which are not being used during the work cycle, after which the loops are cast off. The base fabric stitch formation can be of the normal type construction for example single or double Atlas. The pile loops can be formed over up to 5 needles if required.</p> |
