A device for preventing a notebook computer from being robbed is provided to safely protect the notebook computer during absence of a user by attaching an optical sensor, which is used as an input device of the notebook computer, and a pressure sensor. Each pressure sensor(220,230) outputs a detection signal by detecting weight of the notebook computer. The optical sensor(210) outputs the detection signal by generating an optical signal and detecting the reflected optical signal. A controller(240) estimates displacement of the notebook computer by detecting increase or decrease of the detection signal of the pressure and optical sensor. If the output signal of the pressure and optical sensor is over a reference value, the controller determines robbery and transmits an alarm signal to a sound generator(250) and a wireless transmitter(300). The wireless transmitter transmits an alarm to a mobile terminal of the user based on the received alarm signal.
