A device for controlling a USB is provided to efficiently perform tasks for all USB devices by assigning priority to each USB device and adjusting a resource occupation rate of each USB device. Each USB device driver(110) enables each USB device(200) to use computer resources by connecting the USB devices to a computer. A USB device priority adjustor(120) adjusts the priority of using the computer resources of each USB device by managing the USB device driver according to user input. The USB device priority adjustor sets the high priority to the USB device selected by a user if the user requests fast performance of a task for the selected USB. The USB device priority adjustor sets the low priority to a specific USB device if the efficiency of all USB devices is degraded due to excessively use of computer resources by the specific USB.
