A transceiving device for image combination/self-diagnosis and voice communication is provided to check generation of malfunction and places of the malfunction from a base where a transmitting part is mounted, thereby simplifying management or repair procedure. A transceiving device for image combination/self-diagnosis and voice communication includes a transmitting unit(10) and a receiving unit(20). The transmitting unit has a control input section(13) having a fan/tilt/zoom camera control button part(11) for fan/tilt/zoom camera driving and a camera/monitor selection button part(12), an image combination selection button part(14) for outputting control signals to transmit images photographed by cameras to an image representing part in various combination, a voice communication part(15) for realizing voice communication with a place to monitor, and a display part(16) for displaying states of the cameras and environmental equipment thereof. The receiving unit has a control button input part(21) for receiving the control signals output from the image combination selection button part to transmit the control signals to an image CPU(32), an image processing part(22) for editing the photographed images according to the control signals and transmitting the same to an image input/output control part, and a self-diagnosing part(25). The self-diagnosing section has a current monitoring part(23) for checking abnormality of the cameras and the environmental equipment according to current amounts applied from an output part(30) therefor, and an image synchronization detecting part(24) for checking abnormality of lenses or cameras according to waveforms of the photographed images.
