PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for achieving the allocation change of an IO processor during system operation or the separation of the IO processor from a system. SOLUTION: This computer system is provided with an input/output processor including a plurality of channel cards as interface parts with the outside and a plurality of IO processors allocated for sharing and controlling those plurality of channel cards; a storage device for storing a first table in which physical channel numbers different for every channel card and IO process numbers different for every IO processor are described so as to be associated with each other for specifying the IO processors for controlling the channel cards; and a controller for comparing the total of the operation time of every IO processor when the information of the operation time required for the control of every channel card is collected from the plurality of IO processors, and for changing the allocation of the plurality of IO processor to the plurality of channel cards by referring to the first table so that the variation of the total of the operation time can be made small.
