PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device responding to the height of an object prevented from falling, installed and used regardless of the strength or the like of a ceiling part, giving no attachment damage to the object and easily and arbitrarily detach and move the object. SOLUTION: This fall prevention device is provided with an attachment part relative to a wall, an arm part projecting from the attachment part, and a rod body threadedly engaged with a female screw hole part provided in the arm part and freely threadedly moving in the vertical direction; and the rod body fixed to the wall by the attachment part and threadedly moved is pushed against the upper face of the object such as furniture.
