In white, biaxially oriented polyester film, with a base layer (B) and outer layer(s) (A), the layers have white pigment contents of (B) 3-15, (A) 2-15 wt.%, with less pigment in (A) than (B). An independent claim is included for production of the film by coextrusion, biaxial orientation and thermofixing.
