PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that enables a quick search for local information included in much continuous data (content), and a scrolling control method using the same. SOLUTION: A key input operation on any operation key 31 through a key input part 30 during slow scrolling implemented by a slide operation on a coordinate input part 20 switches the slow scrolling to a jump movement or fast scrolling.
