PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve access accuracy of a pickup for a flexible optical disk. SOLUTION: When reproducing or recording of information is performed for a rotating disk 20, the pickup 26 is moved at a rotation direction upper stream side of the disk more than a generating line passing through a center of an operation plane, also, along a straight line forming the prescribed angle for a center generating line for the optical disk in which surface vibration caused in the disk by the operation plane of a stabilizing member 30 is suppressed.
