PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric fire alarm device which satisfies responsiveness and electric performance. SOLUTION: The photoelectric fire alarm device includes a sensor housing 14 which is a photoelectric sensor, and other components built in a case formed in an approximately box shape and formed of a lower case 11 and an upper case 12, and includes an opening 11a for taking an atmosphere of a fire monitoring region formed on the outer circumference of the case. A cover 17 for covering the components except for the sensor housing 14 which is the photoelectric sensor is provided in the case, and a plane surface parallel to a direction in which an atmosphere taken from the opening part 11a flows is formed of the cover 17.
