PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorber which carries out the performance of a game for enhancing the attractiveness of players while protecting a game machine by absorbing impacts due to collision of balls. SOLUTION: In the impact absorber, the impact of game balls is alleviated with a rubber like elastic body having the tip face of an optical fiber bundle embedded inside while the rear end face of the optical fiber bundle is irradiated with a light beam.
