PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of making the storage environment suitable according to the types of stored foods and improving usability of each storage chamber at the same time. SOLUTION: The refrigerator is equipped with a heat insulating box body 102 forming a refrigerator body 101, a compressor 120 installed in the rear of a top face of the heat insulating box body 102. The storage chamber positioned on the lower most stage of the refrigerator body 101 is partitioned into left and right to form a first refrigerating chamber 106 and a second refrigerating chamber 107. At least one of the freezing chambers 106 and 107 is structured by a pull-out type door 111. Even when a lower partitioned section is partitioned further into right and left, the storage space is not remarkably reduced, and foods in the back of the storage space can be easily put in/taken out by the pull-out type door 111.
