CATALYST FOR CLEANING EXHAUST GAS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas with a high low temperature activity and excellent heat resistance in addition to a high oxygen occulusion release ability capable of obtaining a stable exhaust gas cleaning performance.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for cleaning the exhaust gas comprises a composite oxide represented by a general formula: (La2-xMx)(Sn2-yNy)O7-z(wherein M represents a 2-3 valent cation, N represents a 4-5 valent cation, 0≤x≤1, 0≤y≤1 and 0≤z≤1); and a precious metal component dissolved as a solid solution in the composite oxide or carried on the composite oxide.
