PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise apparatus for performing exercises of the upper limbs and lower limbs by moving a seat in front and back directions, in which the exercise of muscles suited to a user can be performed and the bending and stretching exercises of upper limbs can excellently performed by generating a load matched with the body weight of a user on a seat. SOLUTION: The exercise apparatus is provided with the seat 20 where the user is to be seated and foot rest parts 33 and 34 positioned on the front side of the seat 20. The seat 20 is provided so as to be movable in the front and back directions and to be elevated as being moved to the back.
