<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional coordinate detection apparatus capable of detecting the two-dimensional position of the operator with antennas, and being folded up to improve portability. <P>SOLUTION: The two-dimensional coordinate detection apparatus comprises: frequency change detection sections 10-18 for detecting the change of an oscillation frequency according to spray capacitance between the operator and the antennas; and coordinate transformation sections 22, 24, 28 for transforming the frequency change detected by the frequency change detection sections to coordinates in which the operator exists.
