PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calibrating an optical fiber gyroscope. SOLUTION: This method is for calibrating an optical fiber gyroscope. A first part and a second part of light from a first light source pass through an optical fiber line, and propagate in a first direction and in a second direction respectively. A first voltage which produces a predetermined phase shift between the first part and the second part of the light from the first light source is computed. A first part and a second part of light from a second light source pass through an optical fiber line, and propagate in the first direction and in the second direction respectively. A second voltage which produces a predetermined phase shift between the first part and the second part of the light from the second light source is computed.
