The method involves evaluating a portion of data which is stored in a data base (11) and is assigned to an entered telephone number and/or code. A contact between a prospective customer or a contact seeker and a supplier of a product is intervened depending on the evaluation of the data. A communication connection is produced between two communication terminals, where one of the terminals identifies the data assigned to the telephone number and/or the code. Information is stored by intervening the contact.
