PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dirt separator capable of minimizing the amount of air including impurities so as to be used for inner cooling. SOLUTION: The dirt separator 42 is disposed in a housing of the compressor diffuser 30 at the downstream side of a compressor of a gas turbine engine and at the upstream side of a combustion section 14. An air flow 38 including dirt and impurities is guided radially outwardly by a bent outer face 43 in the radial direction of the dirt separator 42, and a relatively clean air flow 40 is guided radially inwardly by a bent inner face 45 in the radial direction and used for the inner cooling of a turbine etc. The radial outer surface 300 of the diffuser 30 is expanded and opened radially outwardly. Thus, the guiding of the air flow 38 to an outer path in the radial direction is promoted. A pressure sensor 48 for detecting the pressure of a chamber 36 is mounted on the end part face 46 of the dirt separator 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
