PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt fastening device capable of performing fastening work while fixing the head of a bolt and a washer not to fall by utilizing high pressure air. SOLUTION: An attachment 4 rotated and driven by a socket wrench 1 is provided with a socket 6, the head 8 of the bolt 7 is fitted to the socket 6, and the washer 9 is made to abut on a flange 8a of the head 8. A base 10 of a nozzle 5 is fitted to be axially movable to the outer periphery of the attachment 4. The tip 13 of the nozzle 5 is energized to project downward by an elastic means 11. The tip 13 is extended downward from the washer 9, the washer 9 is pressed on the flange 8a by jetting high pressure air obliquely upward from a jet hole 15, and the head 8 is further fitted and fixed into the socket 6. The fixing states of the bolt 7 and the washer 9 can be maintained by jetting the high pressure air while being cleaned. At the time of completing the fastening, the tip 13 escapes, while retreating against the elastic means 11, and the complete fastening is made possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
