A silicon protective material and a display apparatus applying the same are provided to prevent an erosion phenomenon at a part where a signal transfer part is connected, by improving the structure of the silicon protective material. A silicon layer(161) buries at least a part of an electronic component, and seals the part from the outside. An electromagnetic shielding material(162) is formed on the silicon layer, in order to shield electromagnetic waves generated from the electronic component. The shielding range of the electromagnetic waves is 1 to 200dB. The electromagnetic shielding material is made of gold, silver, copper, aluminum, nickel, iron, carbon and an alloy of at least more than two. The electromagnetic shielding material includes a conductive material of 0.5 to 90 wt%.
