SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

A system and a method for managing a resource are provided to support a CLP(Command Line Protocol) of a SMASH standard in a WBEM(Web-Based Enterprise Management) structure. A system for managing a resource includes a client, and a server. The client receives a CLP command from a predetermined user terminal, and transmits the command to the server. The server approaches the resource, manages the resource, and transmits a management result to the client by resolving a CLP target, an object of the CLP command transmitted from the client, and converting a managing object expression of a CLP area into a managing object expression of a CIM area understood in a WBEM structure. The server includes an SSH server(321), a CLP access point(322), a CLP service(323), a CIM server(324), an MAP provider(326), and a SMASH provider(325).
