<p>The device has an applicator element (3) e.g. ball applicator, placed in contact with a surface to be massaged, and movably retained in a body (4). A cooling unit has an expanding unit for expanding a liquefied refrigerant gas, and a can (10) for storing the refrigerant gas in a liquid form. The body is mounted on the can that is equipped with an actuating valve. The valve is fitted with a rod which is actuated by downward axial movement. An outer enclosure (59) is disposed on a plate so as to define a recess inside which the can is concealed. An independent claim is also included for a method of applying a product.</p> |
