A method for manufacturing a frit combined getter tube for a flat panel display is provided to suppress generation of contamination within a substrate by preventing generation of impure gas in a process for fixing a getter tube on the substrate. A getter tube is rotated in a sloped state of 60 to 120 degrees and in order to dip a part of a first side(121L) of the getter tube facing a substrate and a part of a second side(121S) extended to the first side toward the outside of the getter tube into a frit coating solution. The getter tube is rotated at 100 to 300 rpm. The frit coating part is formed along a periphery of the getter tube. The frit coating part has a thickness of 0.2mm to 10mm.
