A parking brake apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent noise due to shaking of an operation lever by fastening the operation lever to a shoe support part of a mounting plate through an elastic fastening member. A parking brake apparatus for a vehicle includes a drum(20), first and second brake shoes(21,22), a mounting plate(10), and an operation lever(30), and a fastening member(50). The drum is rotated together with wheels of the vehicle. The first and second brake shoes are installed on both sides of the interior of the drum to brake the drum. The mounting plate includes a shoe support part supporting the two brake shoes and is fixed to the vehicle body. The operation lever is installed in the vicinity of the shoe support part and presses the two brake shoes toward the inside of the drum when a parking cable is pulled. The fastening member fastens the operation lever to the shoe support part in order to prevent the operation lever from being shaken.
