A rotary oil-damper is provided to improve reliability of products by using a simple structure improving a fluid path at left and right partition wall of a control valve and generating damping force of high efficiency. A rotary oil-damper(1) includes a casing(10), a rotating unit, and a control valve. The casing has a shape of pipe with a cavity and one side capped by a cap(15). The casing includes a pair of rotation constraint ribs injecting along a length direction with an uniform interval on an internal surface and filled with an operating fluid inside. The rotating unit is assembled rotatable to the casing inside of the casing and includes an injecting rib along length direction. The injecting rib includes a rotating axis including a main fluid path of long cavity at the center, a plate covering other side of the casing widely at one side of the rotating axis, and a hinge axis(24) exposed to outside through the cap at one side of the plate. The control valve is slid and inserted to the injecting rib with an interval to a rotating direction. The control valve includes left and right partition walls at both sides of the injecting rib and an external wall connecting both partition walls. An external surface of the external wall contacts to an internal surface of the casing. The left and right partition walls include a high resistance fluid path and a low resistance fluid path to generate different resistances according to a rotating direction.
