A control method of a washing machine is provided to prevent wrong operation in dewatering the laundry by rotating a washing tub in draining water and effectively solving overload eccentricity and to minimize vibration generated in dewatering the laundry. A control method of a washing machine comprises five steps. The first step is for supplying washing water(S11). The second step is for rotating a pulsator after supplying water to wash the laundry(S12). The third step is for making a balance water flow to disentangle the laundry after washing the laundry(S13). The fourth step is for draining water after making the balance water flow and balancing the laundry by rotating a washing tub if a water level is lowered to a predetermined level by draining the water(S14). The fifth step is for checking eccentricity after draining water and disentangling the laundry, and dewatering the laundry if the eccentricity is small(S15,S16). |
