MEMORY SYSTEM AND BOOTING METHOD THEREOF

A memory system and a booting method thereof are provided to reduce the number of memories in the memory system using a plurality of processors without a memory for storing a modem code. A non-volatile memory stores the first and second code. The first processor(120) is connected to the non-volatile memory and is booted by the first code. The second processor(130) is booted by the second code. A DPRAM(Dual Port RAM)(140) is connected between the first and second processor. The non-volatile memory is a NAND flash memory(101). The DPRAM transfers the second code transferred to the first processor to the second processor. The first processor is an application processor and the second processor is a modem. The second code includes a modem boot code(111) and a modem OS(Operating System) code(112).
