A digital generator and a digital receiver for an FDM(Frequency Division Multiplexing) signal are provided to obtain a signal with degree of freedom to be reused in a predetermined distance. A digital generator includes an electronic circuit(8), a RAM(Random Access Memory)(9), and a D/A converter(10). The electronic circuit(8) is a micro processor using the RAM(9) for executing a DSP(Digital Signal Processor), a FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array), or a computer program. The D/A converter(10) generates an analog signal to be transmitted through the air by an antenna(2). A digital receiver(11) includes a multi-carrier demodulator(12), a signal transforming unit(13), and an A/D converter(14). The digital receiver(11) obtains an analog OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) signal detected by an antenna(6) from the A/D converter(14) which converts the analog OFDM signal. The multi-carrier demodulator(12) demodulates a signal having non-equidistant spacing of a pilot symbol in at least one OFDM symbol. The signal transforming unit(13) transforms the OFDM signal having a first pilot pattern, and generates the OFDM signal having equidistant spacing of the pilot symbol in all the OFDM symbols.
