The machine includes a striking device for knocking a piece of timber off the conveyor sideways and at least two ejector devices on at least one side of the conveyor. Each ejector device has a top side which is capable of moving up and down and lies flush with an upper plane of the conveyor. This top side initially slopes upwards from this plane so that when the timber is knocked off the conveyor sideways it is quickly lifted away from the conveyor and any length direction movement is braked. |
