A structure of an automatically reversible damper is provided to rotate a motor reversely by force of a spring to close the damper when the motor is not in operation and open the damper without increasing the torque of the motor beyond the force of the spring. A structure of an automatically reversible damper includes a damper(10) mounted in a duct(5) to rotate with respect to a damper shaft(12). A motor is connected to the damper shaft of the damper and mounted outside the duct for rotating the damper in a direction to open the duct. A clutch is connected between the motor and the damper, wherein the motor and the clutch are received in a single case(70) attached to the duct by bracket(60). A recovery element rotates the damper in the other direction for closing the duct in response to power-off of the motor. A stopping unit keeps the closed state of the duct.
