PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear capable of improving joint strength between a synthetic resin annular member and a metal core member. SOLUTION: The helical gear 10 comprises the synthetic resin annular member 21 having teeth 21a on the outer periphery, and the metal core member 22 joined to the inside of the annular member 21 with insertion molding. The core member 22 consists of a disc portion 22a having a fitting hole 22b formed in the center to which an output shaft 17 is fitted, and a plurality of protruded pieces 22c, 22d protruded from the outer periphery of the disc portion 22a to the radial direction and bent to the axial direction. The protruded pieces 22c bent at an approximately right angle to the disc portion 22a and the protruded pieces 22d bent to be inclined to the disc portion 22a toward the outside, as parts of the plurality of protruded pieces 22c, 22d, are arranged in a zigzag form.
