PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel beam reinforcing hardware and its construction method immediately generating resistance force to stress from the beginning of input of the stress due to load of an earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: The steel beam reinforcing hardware 1 reinforcing a through hole 3 formed in a web 2b of a steel beam 2 is mounted to the edge part of the web around the through hole and formed with a center hole 1a and an insertion hole 1b for inserting shaft parts 15, 15a of a screw fastening means 25 coaxially penetrating the web and the wall thickness of the reinforcing hardware to fasten the web and the reinforcing hardware. A clearance change limiting member 16 capable of limiting the expansion/contraction and deviation of a clearance even when stress is applied to the steel beam is provided in the clearance between the peripheral surface forming the insertion hole and the peripheral surface of the shaft part.
