A method and a device for performing printing by adjusting color are provided to update a color conversion table stored in an image forming device by receiving information for adjusting the color from a user and perform the printing by applying the updated color conversion table. A table generator(510) generates the color conversion table by receiving the information for adjusting the color of the image forming device(550) from the user. A table storing part(533) stores the generated color conversion table. A table transmitter(540) transmits the generated color conversion table to the table storing part by responding to a printing request. A table selector(556) receives selection among the color conversion tables stored in the table storing part. A printing part(559) performs the printing by applying the stored color conversion table. The table generator includes an information input part(520) receiving the information for adjusting the color of the image forming device from the user and a color conversion table generator(530) generating the color conversion table by using the received information.
