PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion by which the good dispersion can be obtained in a short time. SOLUTION: The method for producing the carbon nanotube dispersion comprises dissolving or, if necessary, dispersing a macromolecular compound (preferably an acrylic or epoxy-based polymer) in an organic solvent to provide a macromolecular compound solution having 20-30,000 cP viscosity, adding the carbon nanotube to the macromolecular compound solution, and dispersing the carbon nanotube by a method of ultrasonic dispersion, high-shear dispersion or the like.
