PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a limiting member limiting the turning range of a regulator lever on a governor device without requiring much space. SOLUTION: This governor device 1 of a fuel injection pump controls the idling rotational speed of an engine by limiting the rotating range of the regulator lever 5 by the limiting member 10. The limiting member 10 comprises a first limiting bolt 11, first fixing nuts 12a, 12b fixing the first limiting bolt 11 to a governor case 2, a second limiting bolt 13 passing through the first limiting bolt 11 and supported thereon and allowed to abut on the regulator lever 5, and a second fixing nut 14 fixing the second limiting bolt 13 to the first limiting bolt 11.
