PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular obstruction detection sensor for reducing the weight and cost of wiring. SOLUTION: A sensor head 100 is composed of a transmitter 102, an ultrasonic transmission element 104, an ultrasonic receiving element 105, a transmission amplifier 106, and a casing 101 unitized by storing them. A sensor ECU 200 is composed of a receiving amplifier 202, an A/D convertor 204, and CPU 206. The inside of the sensor head 100 is filled with a waterproof filler such as a silicon resin, and unitizes a component such as the transmitter 102 and wiring between the components.
