PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of carrying out positioning of an insertion direction of a heat exchange tube with respect to a header without applying machining for positioning to an end of the tube. SOLUTION: Since the heat exchange tube 20 is positioned in an insertion direction predetermined position by providing an insertion hole 11a for inserting the end of each heat exchange tube 20 in each header, and abutting a tip of the heat exchange tube 20 on an abutting part 11b provided in the insertion hole 11a, positioning of the heat exchange tube 20 with respect to the header 10 can be carried out without applying the machining for positioning on the end of each heat exchange tube 20. By this, there are no problems as in a conventional one such as crushing of a refrigerant communication passage 21 in the heat exchange tube 20 due to the machining for positioning, and the refrigerant not evenly flowing in a lateral direction of the heat exchange tube, and deterioration of heat exchange efficiency can be positively prevented.
