PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box made of a foamed synthetic resin of which the enlargement, the depth enlargement, and also, the part replacement are facilitated by reducing the number of parts, and in addition, of which the assembly and the disassembly can be performed by a simple work. SOLUTION: This packing box made of the foamed synthetic resin is constituted of one sheet of a bottom plate 2, two sheets of side plates 3, two sheets of end plates 4, and one sheet of a lid plate 5. Engaging sections 2c and 4e are provided at the meeting sections of the bottom plate and the end plates, and a protruding section 3d is formed inward at the lower sections of the end sections of the side plates. At the same time, the width of the lower section of the end plate is formed to be slightly smaller than a distance between the side plates under an erected state on the bottom plate. Also, the width of the upper section of the end plate is formed to be larger than the distance between the side plates. The lower section of the end plate is inserted between the side plates which are erected on the bottom plate while tilting the end plate, and the engaging section of the end plate is engaged with the engaging section of the bottom plate. Under this state, the end plates and the side plates are incorporated in such a manner that the outward movement of the end plates may be regulated by the protruding sections of the side plates, and the inward movement of the end plates may be regulated by the upper sections of the end surfaces of the side plates.
