<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing failure of a component member of a paper feed cassette. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feed cassette 6 of this copier 100 includes a pair of width cursors 71, 72 arranged so as to oppose to each other and leave a predetermined interval and regulating width dimension of paper P stored in the paper feed cassette 6; racks 74, 75 provided in the width cursors 71, 72, respectively; a pinion 76 disposed between the racks 74, 75 so as to be engaged with the racks 74, 75; and a boss 73b rotatably journaling the pinion 76. The pair of width cursors 71, 72 are interlocked with each other via the racks 74, 75 and the pinion 76. The paper feed cassette 6 includes a rib 73e provided adjacent to the pinion 76 while leaving a slight clearance between the rib 73e and the pinion 76 and regulating movement in the radial direction of the pinion 76 by abutting on the pinion 76. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
