PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface roughened resin coating wire rod whose surface roughening becomes possible in a material composition without performing roughening working after coating and a filler addition to a coating composition. SOLUTION: In the surface roughened resin coating wire rod coated with a composite resin composition containing a polyolefin series resin and a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer on the metal element wire through a binder, the composite resin film has an arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of JIS B0601 is 9μms or more and the maximum roughness (Rmax) of 13μm or more.
