<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing light source small in size. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing light source includes: a lead part having a window for transmitting light emitted by a light emitting element; the light emitting element flip-chip connected to the lead part; resin applied so as to be in contact with the light emitting element and the lead part; and a polarizing plate attached on a side facing the light emitting element at a position of the window of the lead part. Since a gap between the light emitting element and the polarizing plate becomes stable due to the lead part, the compact and stable polarizing light source can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
