<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a library device or the like which is introduced without changing a hardware configuration and a software configuration on a host system side. <P>SOLUTION: A medium loading means 18 acquires a designation medium address corresponding to designation medium information from a medium management information storing part 10, issues an instruction to the effect that a storage medium is conveyed to an accessor 12 from a cell 17 corresponding to the designation medium address and mounted on a drive device 13, and makes a medium conveying source storing part 11 store the storage medium as a conveying source address when receiving a load display instruction from a host system 3 that uses the library device 1. A medium unloading means 19 reads the conveying source address from the medium conveying source storing part 11, and issues to the accessor an instruction to the effect that the accessor unloads the storage medium mounted in the drive device and conveys the storage medium to a cell corresponding to the conveying source address when receiving an unload instruction from the host system 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
