Damping device for power transmission in predominantly two-wheeled vehicles, especially arranged on the drive shaft from the clutch to the gearing, comprises a damping pot (1) produced in a non-cutting manner from a steel strip and joined to form a ring in a form-locking manner by connecting elements (2) and receiving cut-outs (3) shaped out of the ends of the steel strip. Preferred Features: Several cut-outs (6, 7) are provided in the damping pot. The damping pot is closed on one side by a driving plate (9) having a bore (12) with a multigrooved profile (13) and receiving cams (11) radially on the outer diameter.
